In Huntsville, AL, a security guard shot a man who was attempting to enter the nightclub with a gun on his person. This man could have killed people inside, but the security guard stopped him in his tracks before anything drastic could happen. The incident began when two men got into a fight outside of a club at about 1 a.m., prompting one man to go to his car and retrieve an AK-47. At this point, the man who had retrieved the gun from his car began firing shots in the middle of the parking lot. It was then when the security officer stepped in and shot the man to stop the incident from going any further.

Huntsville police department lieutenant told reporters that there could have been many more injuries if the security officer has not stepped in. According to him, this nightclub security guard prevented what could have been a catastrophe.

STEM School Savior

In 2019 at a STEM school in Denver, CO took down an armed shooter who could have potentially taken many lives. Fortunately, the shooter was apprehended by the security guard before things got too serious, which means there weren’t any real injuries. This security officer was employed by a local security agency called BOSS, who was able to provide him with the training and expertise necessary to handle the situation with grace and efficiency.

Both BOSS supervisors and students from STEM School Highlands Ranch took the opportunity to praise the security officer who apprehended the shooter, saying he likely saved a lot more lives than he was aware of.
